faciliter le changement * facilitate the change
Un M’s américain a écrit:Damien,
Even excellent organizations face momentum issues when considering change. If your team in thinking this through, a certain networked, gentle persistence will be needed.
A book on organziationa change from Harvard professor, R. M. Kantar*, Confidence may be very useful to read. In it, we see how the force of organizational momentum either at the community or management level impacts the performance of even All Star performers.
In my view, this is one of the best books covering organizational responses to moments of genius I have ever read. I would wager that more than 50% of the responses in this forum fit in line with the responses the book would predict. Yet, all is not lost, good change can be made real even inside and while respecting the effects of organizational momentum.
If Mensa did want to accept advice from the best organizational processes of industry, then it would be working to create brilliant processes for typical mensa members rather than ordinary processes to frustrate brilliance. Frustration is a method of control. In the case of criminality, frustrating evil behavior is a very handy control. In the case of honest genius, there are better choices that lead to benefit from genius rather than denial; in that case, frustration of genius is a very bad use of control. It would be contrary to the best interests of MENSA itself, let alone a waste of rare resource.
